ABFA Women’s Charity 7-A-Side a Success

It was an excellent day for football in Antigua and Barbuda on Saturday, November 15, as the ABFA hosted a Women’s Charity 7-A-Side Tournament with at least 150 female footballers participated.

According to ABFA Women’s Football Coordinator, Gwen Salmon, “a big shout go out to all the ladies who came out to play. You are all winners,” she commented.

The ABFA Women’s Football Committee would like to thank the sponsors – Town House Mega Store, Cool and Smooth, Flo Perfumery and Lime.

Individual Prizes: Most Goal/ MVP – Sheida Knowles of Otto’s Tigress – 12 goals in the tournament.

Best Keeper – Shakea Ogarro of Otto ‘s Tigress – concedes two goals in the tournament.
